Eltron Helperv2.03
Introduction
This utility will automatically print Eltron labels downloaded using Internet Explorer or Edge.
Once installed and configured properly it will help uBook and iTrak users to print
thermal labels in Eltron printers installed locally or in the network.
System requirements
- Eltron Helper can be used with Microsoft Windows 98/ME/XP, Windows 10..
- It supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or above and Edge.
- Security updates for Internet Explorer 11. Below screenshot is an example of how to add a site in "Trusted sites" list. Please add iTrak2,iTrak3 or uBook site as required.

- An Eltron direct thermal printer attached to the local machine or in the network.
Printer drivers must be installed and configured properly. Recommended printer is Eltron LP2443 (previously named Eltron Orion).
Installation
- Uninstall previous versions of Eltron Helper.
- Click here to start installing the Eltron Helper application.
Choose Open in the File Download dialog when displayed.

- Click Next in the following dialogs to install the tool with default settings.

- After copying all files, the installer will display the Eltron Configuration dialog.
Select the appropriate Eltron printer from the Printer dropdown and click OK.

- Setup will then open a test page in a browser window. Click on the link. If the tool was configured properly,
a thermal label will be printed immediately.

- Close the browser window and finish off installation.

- Eltron helper is now installed, configured and ready to use.
Note
- You can re-configure Eltron Helper to use a different printer by running the
configuration tool from Start Menu -> All Programs named Eltorn label printer helper. From there run:

- Always select an Eltron direct thermal label printer in the configuration tool.
Selecting other type of printer will result in malformed output.
- MD5 sum of setup.msi is: 44fc6bc89a3ec24670b79762d726d0fb. Always check the installer with an anti-virus software.
